What Geographical areas do you provide service for?

Wilkes Solutions is based in Marietta Georgia, but we also have a nationwide presence.  We have performed work for several customers across the United States.  These services have ranged from Design Build, Class A office space build out and renovations, Relocations, Site Surveys, Department Store build outs and Wharehouse build outs.

 

Fiber Optics:

 

What types of fiber can you install?

Wilkes Solutions is certified to install, Single Mode, Multimode 62.5/125um, 50/125um, Laser optimized 10gig fiber optic cable in either Non-plenum or Plenum rated. We also provide standard fiber optic cables or an Interlocking Armored fiber optic cable available in Single or Multimode fiber types.

 

What termination options do you offer?

Wilkes Solutions is certified in Fusion splicing, Unicam, AFL Fast Connectors, Anaerobic adhesive, Heat cured epoxy and UV adhesive. Our preferred method is Fusion splicing of pigtails which we have been able to perform at the same costs as the other methods mentioned.

 

What types of Fiber Connectors can you install?

Wilkes Solutions can install LC, SC, FC, ST, MTRJ in either Single Mode or Multimode.

What certifications do you hold?

Wilkes Solutions is certified Panduit, Hellermann-Tyton, Molex, ADC and Systimax.

 

What types of Installs have you completed?

Wilkes Solutions has installed residential cabling, Class A office space, Data Centers which is our forte, Industrial installations such as Wharehouse environments requiring conduit and multiple IDF installations and Large department store type building structures which also require conduit runs and multiple IDF installations with connectivity back to the MDF.

 

What size patch panels do you offer?

Depending on the manufacturer, we can offer the following:

1 Rack unit, 24 port, Angled or Flat front
1 Rack unit, 48 port, High Density, Angled or Flat front
2 Rack unit, 48 port, Angled or Flat front
2 Rack unit, 72 port, Angled or Flat front

 

How do you test your cable work to ensure quality?

Wilkes Solutions uses an Agilent WireScope 350, Fluke DTX 1800 for copper and fiber optic certification as well as an Optical Wave length Fiber optic power source and light meter for fiber optic certification.

 

Relocation and Move, Adds and Changes:

 

What types of relocation services do you offer?

Wilkes Solutions is very experienced in relocating customers from one office space to another, single server transports as well as single cabinet to larger scale 50 plus cabinet relocations either Interstate or intrastate.

 

What type of Move, Add and Change services do you offer?

Wilkes Solutions currently provides Move, Adds and Change services for several of their customers. Wilkes provides move services where they pack up each individuals computers and phones and moves them to their new desk either in the same building or another building and then the computers and phones are reconnected, powered on and verified for connectivity and proper phone functions. Wilkes also provides Add and Change services as necessary whether it is the addition of 1 cable and jack or just ensuring that there is network or phone connectivity for the existing outlet.

 

Does your work come with a guarantee or warranty?

Wilkes Solutions offers the manufacturers’ warranty as well as our own warranty of 25 years.
